Key Aspects

The design and construction of a new 2,500sqm warehouse and distribution centre for one of the world’s largest hardware distributors with over 4,000 product lines.  

An additional 600sqm building for offices/administration and showrooms was linked directly to the warehouse to maximise operational efficiencies. The client demanded a landmark building of an industrial nature, one which created a point of difference, but within a very rigid budget. BDG developed a radical concept but through its simplicity of execution was constructed within budget and has created a landmark for the area and set a new standard in commercial/industrial design.  This development has set the benchmark for Hafele facilities worldwide.  

The interior spaceplanning and design incorporated all of Hafele’s own workstations, partitioning and furniture products, with the interior designed to showcase their functionality, aesthetics and diversity.
