Key Aspects

The project consists of the development of change rooms and toilet facilities, a kitchen/kiosk, store rooms and a function room that is suitable for a range of community and club social activities. With 19 local and regional sporting and recreational groups as regular users of the facility, the building design although remaining the same in overall principle underwent a thorough design and functional review resulting in design amendments to meet the detailed needs of the numerous user groups and the Shire.

Detailed design / documentation required the careful integration of all secondary consultants’ work including; civil, structural, geotechnical, hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, landscape, energy, acoustic, and BCA compliance/surveyor. The Quantity Surveyor was not required to undertake a Bill of Quantities.
