Key Aspects

This project includes the development of 3500sqm of office space over two levels with an integrated landscaped roof deck and basement / undercroft carpark for 66 car bays. 

Designed to 5 Star Green Star and 5 Star NABERS energy rating allowance has been made for future extension of up to two levels above the existing building.  The core of the building design is the environmental performance with the building being benchmarked to National Best Practice standards. 

The building will incorporate the latest technologies in terms of water management/harvesting, low energy fittings and equipment, daylight harvesting, individually addressable light fittings, zoned air conditioning with high levels of fresh air, argon filled low-e double glazing, substantial external sunshading, water minimizing appliances, maximum recycled materials, and a focus on lifecycle costing.

The building footprint has a majority north facing aspect maximizing natural light penetration into the building whilst minimizing solar thermal ingress through sunshading.  The building design incorporates numerous passive design elements maximizing internal ambient daylight through a large central skylight with BMS connected auto opening windows within the atrium space purging hot air in summer using natural ventilation techniques.

Externally the building sets a new contemporary benchmark for buildings of this type utilizing high quality low maintenance materials such as stainless steel, glass, aluminium, concrete, and recycled timber. The interior fitout has been designed to an equal 5 Star Green Star.
